Case Study

StartUP PIME

The "StartUP Pime: Intercampus Entrepreneurial Motivation Programme" of the University of Valencia aims to provide participating students with entrepreneurial (in particular solopreneurial) skills from a practical perspective. They will be guided through the process of designing a new product or service, turning a business idea into a market-ready project.

The programme is available to all students of the University of Valencia, no previous knowledge is required, only motivation and proactivity.

StartUP Pime consists of three stages:

  • The first stage, "Idea Factory", is a 5-hour training where innovative ideas are generated.
  • The second stage, "Core Entrepreneurial Competences", focuses on entrepreneurial skills based on the European Entrepreneurial Competence Framework (EntreComp). It consists of 4 modules of 5 hours each, culminating in the presentation of individual projects.

The last stage, "Business Plan", consists of 25 hours distributed in 6 sessions that address topics such as idea generation and development, SWOT and market analysis, marketing plan, business strategies, work organisation, materials needed to start the business activity, legal aspects and a detailed economic plan including investments, expenses and income.
