Santander Bank encourages and supports entrepreneurship (in particular solopreneur) with various initiatives that support the potential of young people. Some of these are:
Santander X Explorer: To join the programme, it is necessary to have a business idea. If you don't have one, the first step is to participate in the "Road to Explorer" programme, which, through online talk, will guide participants to find the entrepreneurial project they want to focus on. Once they have an idea, Santander's programme helps them to turn it into a sustainable business. This programme, which is free of charge, lasts 12 weeks (8/10 hours per week) and can be carried out in a blender or fully remote manner. It is open to entrepreneurs (in particular solopreneurs) from 12 countries that make up an international community. The training activities come from the collaboration between Santander X Explorer and the IFE (Institute for the Future of Education) of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Participants will have multiple benefits, such as assessing the viability of their idea, accessing an international network of entrepreneurs, obtaining a certificate at the end of the programme, receiving training on crowdfunding and advice for the crowdfunding fundraising campaign.
Santander X: This programme offers training, resources, awards, events, advice and help in networking with international entrepreneurs, mentors, experts, investors and clients, among others. A key advantage of this programme is that it assists entrepreneurs at any stage of their business, with 5 different sections dedicated to different profiles (entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, startups and SMEs). Entrepreneurs (in particular solopreneurs) can participate in the "Start" programme, where they will receive help to validate their business idea and understand their potential and weaknesses. They can also participate in the "Launch" programme, which prepares them to enter the market and connect with the right audience. For startups, they have access to the "Accelerate" programme to boost sales and business growth, and the "Growth" programme if they want to expand or diversify their business. Finally, SMEs can join the “Transform” programme to find the tools, connections and resources they need to grow and consolidate in the market.
